Old coastal cities disappear or have a great lagoon in the centre. With services wrecked, not enough people to repair them, festering waste piles and fatberg-clogged sewers spreading epidemics, towns are abandoned in favour of the new capital, Freedom City, a sheltered port on the flooded Severn estuary.

 

Roads fall into disrepair, journeys take longer,the country seems to grow larger…
